Weather Information

Warm Greetings to the Community of Our Lady of Confidence Day School,

With the colder temperatures and weather advisories, we want to ensure our top priority of keeping safe all students, family members, faculty, staff, volunteers, and all other stakeholders of our community.

A few points to keep in mind throughout the school year during adverse weather conditions:

1. Safety first- If the school district/county that you reside in is closed, your student is not expected to come to school that day. As a safety precaution, please do not drive your student to school as we understand that your local district has closed due to roads observed as unsafe and other various hazards. Simply send an email to the school or leave a message that your student will be absent due to your local district closure or because of road conditions in your local area. This also pertains to faculty, staff, and volunteers.

2. School closure- OLC will follow the closures of each respective partner campus. The Bishop McDevitt site will adhere to closures if Bishop McDevitt closes. The St. David’s site will close if Queen of Angels Regional School is closed.

Ultimately, the safety of our OLC community is top priority. Cooperation and support of this effort is greatly appreciated. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me directly if I can further assist you.

Advent blessings,
Angie Johnson
