Each student’s curriculum is based on the goals and objectives stated in the Individual Education Program (IEP). The IEP focuses on five main objective areas:

Vocational training is incorporated in all classrooms. Pre-Vocational skills’ training begins at the St. David Parish Site. Vocational training at the OLC Archbishop Wood site is integrated within the daily curriculum.

Technology holds a vital role in the education of OLC students every day. Each classroom and reading area is equipped with a Smartboards. They are used to strengthen all subject areas and reach every type of learner. Smart boards, video streaming, educational websites, Apple T.V.s, chromebooks, and IPads are all used to supplement instruction. These tools actively engage the student in the learning process. The use of technology has proven to be a source of growth regarding independence and preparation for transition from school to work.
Maintenance- Vacuuming, sweeping, wiping surfaces, moping, and washing/ drying laundry and dishes.
